Visit with Jeff's parents at Big Boy. It's like Sizzlers. I had spag bol. Then it was Jungle Jim's which is like an extra enormous coco's fruit barn but with MORE. They have huge sections, which are all decorated in theme. For instance the honey section, which was labelled with regions, featured fluffy bees and a hive. They have international food sections, such as Spanish, asian, German, Mexican. The British section is decorated with dummies dressed as Robin Hood et al. Very funny. The chocolate aisle... omg.. I wanted to take everything home. So much interesting stuff. I found those lollypops that have insects in them. rofl.
The Australian wine section is very well represented, I was stunned and amazed. Even Some Young Punks is there. My favourite, Red Mullet, is there for $14.95. Not a bad price.
They have fresh and live seafood. Amazing fruit and vege. There were portobello mushrooms. It was certainly a fine adventure.
Then we met Jeff's friend and went to a Peruvian restaurant. That was lovely. I had a paella style dish that had shrimp. Couldn't eat it all. Just fantastic. I took photos of all their decorations, it was wonderful inside.
Off to see The Expendables. It's hilarious that Arnie shows up, for a few minutes. It is ok, but a bit light-on for plot. I had an apple Air Head taffy bar. Have not had any proper salt water taffy though.
Stores are gearing up for Halloween now. I am fascinated by the bags of candy corn for the bright colour, but I don't need any. :)
