We went to MoMA in the morning and breezed through it. There was an obscure period of Matisse show on, which was ok. There was a lot of Warhol and Picasso. In all it was not the most fascinating museum I have been to.
We walked to Central Park and decided not to go on a horse carriage ride for an hour at $50. Then we parted ways. I walked up to 82nd street and crossed through the park to find Guggenheim.
Unfortunately, the Gugg is undergoing some installation, so for $10 I got to see 3 floors - 1 of which was new stuff and 2 was general collections. Still, there were some classics in there and the archiecture alone was worth seeing. Beautiful building.
I took a bus back which I discovered was coin only. $2.25. Dropped me right near the hotel.
Then we headed out to 5th Avenue for this event, Fashion Night Out.
We saw Anna Wintour!!! In fact she brushed past Jessica at the lights. Jessica posed with Kenneth Cole in his store. There were live models in the shop windows. DJs. Sean John was in his shop but we avoided the queue. We had canapes in Nine West and lemonade with pansies. I had a make up thing at Macys at the Dior counter. There was a truck with live Ken dolls in it - cute guys, waving and laughing.
It was fun and there were so many people. Then there was some journal keeping and packing.
Tomorrow going home.
