Met up with cousins. We went toward Soho. Greenwich Village is very good. I love the feel. There are parks to trip over, just little ones, barely enough to put a house on, but they are public spaces and adorned with pots of plants, fountains or statues.
The buildings are all great, loved them. Saw the Magnolia Bakery which features in Sex and the City. Had a cupcake.
When we hit Times Square, ran into the Naked Cowboy and took photos. Yay!!!!!
Then we got discount tickets to see Addams Family the musical. It was not until I was on the plane flying to LAX that I read a NY guide and saw a whole lotta other muscials I would have loved to see. Also stage plays. Amazing range. Addams Family was quie ok, there are songs that keep repeating in my head at odd moments. Crazier than You comes to mind. Absolutely freezing inside!
Dinner was at a contemporary Japanese place called Haru. We had agedashi and a platter of sushi. Too much to eat all off. Jess got a sampler platter of four sakis.
A pretty interesting and relaxed day.
