Bars

Went in search of some bars last night. We have in hand some local free press to give us some tips. They were hard to find, but after circling, we made it. There was a dubious looking Malones and opposite was the Blue Sky Bar (these are close to Nanjing Road).

Hahaha.. terrible. Blue Sky bar - well we walk in from the drizzle and are confronted by several middle aged men surrounded by one or two ladies a piece. It's a prostitute bar. They start laughing (the women) so we leave. We don't want to go to Malones, so its off back up the road to find I Love Shanghai.

It's hidden on level 3 of a Singapore restaurant and is full of americans. A cocktail is 50rmb and beers are the same. It's advertised as a "Western" bar. Wonder what the Chinese ones are like.
