Walking home late at night

Construction workers still in their gear and hardhats are sleeping in phonebooths.

It makes me very sad.

And a lot of this... guys working in the dark, late at night.

I guess some of it is to do with getting the place ready for Expo, but it's still a chore putting cement around tiles by street light alone.

The overpasses are littered with offcuts, tile piles and sanding discs. Late at night you walk at your own risk.

Sometimes I wonder if there is any part of Shanghai that doesn't smell like wee and poo.
